Holwell Hyde former landfill operations
A gallery of photographs showing the former waste site at Cole Green/Holwell Hyde in operation. The site accepted a variety of household and commercial waste from 1920-1990. The land now falls within the area promoted being promoted as Birchall Garden Suburb by landowner Tarmac, the proposal being supported by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (April 2018).
