Who we are
We are a group of volunteers based in and around St. Albans working to fundraise, campaign and support the work of Oxfam on various projects across the globe.
What we do
Our key activity is the organisation of the St. Albans Herts Hike, held annually with a variety of routes starting from Heartwood Forest in Sandridge, St. Albans. We are now planning the 2016 event, to be held on Saturday 24th September 2016.
We also get involved in various other community activities such as Speaker Meetings, Fairtrade activities, a Craft Stall at the Heartwood Festival and Street Collections.
We are a local community group and welcome all new members to join us! We have various different activities throughout the year (with a particular focus on the lead up to our Hike in September) and welcome new volunteers to give as much (or as little!) time as you have available.
