£5350 Raised by 2018 Walk For Water – let’s do even better on 21st Sept 2019!

Thank you once more to everyone for your efforts in raising money for Oxfam’s water projects by taking part in the Walk For Water 2018. We are very proud to announce our final total which is an impressive £5354 (107% of target). Can we do even better this year in the next Walk for Water on Saturday 21st Sept 2019?

This spring Oxfam has given essential help to victims of Cyclones in East Africa – LifeSaver Cubes to give safe clean drinking water were flown out to Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe within hours of the disastrous weather events. Did some of those Cubes come from proceeds of the 2018 Walk for Water!? Thank you to all who helped at the Emergency Street Collection for Cyclone Idai which raised £314 in St Albans.

Please watch this space as we prepare for next years event which will now be on 21st September 2019. It is already shaping up to be a monumental year as we hit our 25 year anniversary. We hope that everyone who has ever been involved will come & join us in some way shape or form to celebrate the milestone with us!

What happened in your life 25 years ago?

Are you celebrating a 25-year wedding anniversary?

Your 25th birthday?

Can you get a group of 25 people together to take part?

However you are able to celebrate with us, we welcome you & please share your thoughts!

Regards
