Sizzling May Bank Holiday

May Bank Holiday – What a difference the sunshine made to today’s May Bank Holiday. Around the park many folks were out enjoying the sunshine and several families were picnicking in a group.

The park fruit trees are laden with white blossoms. Birdsong filled the air. This year’s display of wood anemones put on its best show in living memory. Bluebells are starting to come out and will peak in a few days all being well.

Found – A local family came across a large crash model aeroplane. If you are or know the owner please email us

Park Angels -  A big thank you to the many park angels picking litter as they go. You make such a difference.

Nature Trail -  Wood chips wanted. If you know a friendly tree surgeon who can donate some let us know. It saves paying to dump the wood chips into a land fill.
